Asylum and IRB

People who fear for their safety in their country of origin can apply for asylum in Canada. This complex process takes place before the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) and requires careful preparation of the case.

About the Service

An asylum claim requires demonstrating a well-founded fear of persecution or a serious risk of return to the country of origin. The case is presented to the Refugee Protection Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB), where the claimant must establish their credibility and the strength of their documentary evidence. Appropriate representation is essential at every stage: filing the claim, preparing the case brief, and the hearing before the Board.

Why choose this service?

Being present in Canada and having a well-founded fear of persecution for a recognized reason (race, religion, nationality, political opinion, membership of a social group) or risking torture, a threat to life or cruel treatment if returned to their country.
