About the Service
This component, part of Canada's Global Hypergrowth Project, allows highly skilled workers who have received a job offer from a participating employer to obtain an employer-specific permit. It aims to accelerate recruitment in innovative sectors and offers faster processing.
Why choose this service?
Canadian employers who hire foreign workers must prove that they operate a legitimate business in good standing, that they are able to pay the offered wage, that they will provide the promised working conditions, and that they will keep accurate records for inspection.
These obligations apply to all hiring programs, whether they are based on an LMIA or are exempt. However, they do not apply when the employer hires a person who already holds an open work permit, such as a post-graduation work permit, a spousal open work permit, an International Experience Canada Working Holiday permit, or a bridging open work permit.
