Work permit for international mobility
A work permit without a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) can be obtained through the International Mobility Program (IMP), designed for situations where hiring a foreign worker provides broader economic, cultural or social benefits for Canada, or where reciprocal opportunities exist for Canadians abroad.

About the Service
This program covers, among others, participants in international agreements (such as the USMCA), employees transferred within the same company, as well as open work permits offered to graduate students (graduate work permits), spouses of skilled workers or students, and young participants in the International Experience Canada (IEC) program, which includes the Working Holiday Visa (WHV). The employer must submit a job offer through the Employer Portal and pay the applicable compliance fees, without having to demonstrate the absence of an available Canadian candidate.
Why choose this service?
Belong to one of the eligible categories of the International Mobility Program or the International Experience Canada program, and meet the specific requirements of the category in question (international agreement, intra-company transfer, open permit, etc.).
